Exercise 1: Simple Coding Query

1. Click on “Codes” in the left-side menu and open the “COVID-19”-code by double clicking it.
2. Explore the different views in the menu to the right (“Summary”, “Reference” og “Text”).
3. Go to the “Text”-view and double click on the “Geraldine”-document. This will open the “Geraldine”- document and show you all text sections coded with the “COVID-19”- code.

Exercise 2: Organizing Your Codes

1. Clock on “Codes” in the left-side menu and expand the NVivo Workshop Test Codes by clicking the arrow to the left of the code. Find Code 2 and make it a Child Code under Code 1
2. Turn Code 2 back into a regular code
3. Merge Code 2 and Code 3. Name the new code New Merged Code
